Scramble Game – California

Back in 1905, Frank Epperson, who was 11 years old, left his cup of soda outside on the front porch with a stirring stick in it. The soda froze overnight.

The next day, Frank gave the frozen soda a try. That’s how popsicles were created.

Some clues: One of the tallest standing dead trees in the world ( 3,200 years old!) lived here in the National Redwood Park. The lowest point (Death Valley) and highest point (Mount Whitney) in the continental US (lower 48 states) are also in this state.
